The Club at Venetian Bay

I had my wedding at The Club at Venetian Bay back in June. My husband and I were looking for a small venue that could provide everything for us in one place. Venetian Bay is new to doing weddings but you wouldn’t know it from the wonderful experience we had. Once Savanna and Ben came on board they were extremely responsive and were able to accommodate all of our requests. They went above and beyond my expectations the day prior to the wedding and the day of. Getting everything set up for us exactly the way we wanted. We took a gamble and chose food without ever having a tasting since we don’t live locally. It worked out for us and our guests were saying how delicious their meals were and how it was some of the best they’ve had. Even though they were having construction on the patio they were able to help us work around that and make it a beautiful private day for us with plenty of room to move around. We had the best night dancing our hearts out and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing staff at The Venetian Bay. There were a few minor things that happened throughout the night but in my experience that happens at every wedding and I’m sure with more weddings they will learn and grow and become a premier Wedding Venue for Central Florida. If you are having a small wedding in the area or another event such as a shower, or family party I definitely recommend checking out The Club at Venetian Bay. I’m so happy we had our wedding there and I’m thankful to the staff for all they did to make our day special.

This course was in great shape! Tee boxes were the only place where they might improve and it was just a few of those. Played pretty decent but this is a challenging course and lots of ways to lose a few balls. Quite a bit of water on a lot of the holes but most today were out of reach of my drives. Beautiful day all day while we played and just a little touch of rain towards the end to cool us down. Great day on the course.

Going to play for the second time this weekend in hopes it will be better. The greens are amazing and the course is well taken care of. The cart lady was never to be seen except hole 1. The kitchen was closed and we seemed to get a leftover of the buffet which included school lunch nachos and I have to say the chicken wings were great. There was a tournament so we hope it will get better when we play the coming up weekend. We were rushed on the first hole and had to pick up our balls because they were behind schedule which put a damper on the mood. Will update after second visit

Accommodating and friendly staff - and one of my favorite courses to play. The conditions are great from tee to green and the holes are challenging while still giving you a very good chance to card a low score. The fairways are wide and while the second cut can be "fluffy" you can still make solid contact through it. Well worth the money.

Worst golf course in the county and it’s not even close. Fairways and rough completely burnt out and in some places nonexistent. Greens were absolutely destroyed with burn spots that were like divots everywhere and HUGE bald spots. Easily never coming back here especially for a $50 round. Every other course you can find is a better option.
